process model ID (PID)
A process model ID (PID) is a 32 character unique ID associated with a process model.
In the AgilePoint NX APIs, this is sometimes called a process definition ID.
Find the Process Model ID in Manage Center
The process model ID is shown in Manage Center on the Process Detail > General Information tab.
The Def ID field in the Process Information section shows the process model ID.
Retrieve a Process Model ID with the REST API
These REST API methods can be used to retrieve a process model ID:
- Get Base Process Definition ID - This method retrieves the process model ID for the specified process model (process definition) name.
- Get Released Process Definition ID - This method retrieves the process model IDs of all released version of the process model (process definition) for the specified process model name.
