Creates a package in App Builder.

Prerequisites

How to Start

  1. Click App Builder.

    Click App Builder
  2. On the App Builder Home screen, click Package.

    Click Package
  3. On the Packages screen, click New.

    Click New

Specifies the information to create a package.

Package

Description:
Specifies the name of the package.
Allowed Values:
One line of text (a string).

Accepted:

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Spaces

Description

Description:
Specifies a text description for the package.
Allowed Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:
None

Package Details screen

Shows the information about the package and adds apps and custom pages to the package.

Select Resource Type screen
Function:
Specifies whether to add apps or custom pages to the package.

Update Package With Latest Version Of All Dependencies

Description:
Specifies whether the package is exported with the latest version of all dependencies.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - When the package is exported, it is updated with latest version of all dependencies.
  • Deselected - When the package is exported, it includes the version of the dependencies that were the most recent at the time the package was created.
Default Value:
Selected
