If permission groups are enabled, the following rules apply:
- To create a package, the user must be a member of the Global Package Owners permission group.
- To change a package, the user must be a member of the Global Package Owners or Package Owners permission group.
To add an app or custom page to a package, the app or custom page must be published.
AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v9.0 or higher.

Specifies the information to create a package.

Field Name	Definition
Package	Description: Specifies the name of the package. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string). Accepted: Letters Numbers Spaces Default Value: None Accepts Variables: No
Description	Description: Specifies a text description for the package. Allowed Values: More than one line of text. Default Value: None

Shows the information about the package and adds apps and custom pages to the package.

Add To Package	Opens this Screen: Select Resource Type screen Function: Specifies whether to add apps or custom pages to the package.
Update Package With Latest Version Of All Dependencies	Description: Specifies whether the package is exported with the latest version of all dependencies. Allowed Values: Selected - When the package is exported, it is updated with latest version of all dependencies. Deselected - When the package is exported, it includes the version of the dependencies that were the most recent at the time the package was created. Default Value: Selected

Specifies whether to add apps or custom pages to the package.

Pages	Opens this Screen: Pages screen Function: Does a search of the custom pages.

Does a search of the published apps.

For an app to show in the search results, the user must also have app designer permissions for the app.

Search Apps	Description: Finds the published apps to associate with the package.

Does a search of the custom pages.

For the custom pages to show in the search results, the user creating the package must also have page designer permissions for the custom pages.
