Prerequisites

  • Enable more than one language for an eForm.

    For more information, refer to Form Settings.

  • Create a translation language for a multilingual eForm.

    For more information, refer to Add a New Language screen.

Good to Know

  • These form controls are not supported in multilingual eForms:
    • Chart
    • Raw HTML
    • Credit Card
  • These form controls do not support Inline List Options in multilingual eForms.
    • Multi-Select List Box
    • Auto-Suggest
  • In Data Grid form control the Data Type Enum is not supported in multilingual eForms.

How to Start

  1. Click App Builder.

    Click App Builder
  2. On the App Builder Home screen, click All Apps.

    Click All Apps
  3. On the All Apps screen, on an app, click Edit Edit icon.

    Click Edit
  4. On the App Details screen, click Add New Add New icon > Translation.

    Click Translations

Select Language
Description:
Specifies the language for the translation.
Allowed Values:
A language from the list.

This field shows the languages created on the Language Editor screen in Manage Center.

Select Form
Description:
Specifies an eForm for the translation.
To Open this Field:
  1. In the Select Language field, select a language.
Allowed Values:
An eForm from the list.

This field shows the eForms in the app.

Preview
Function:
Shows a preview of the eForm in a new tab.
To Open this Field:
  1. In the Select Language field, select a language.

Translate With AI
Description:
Creates the localized text for the fields in the Translated Text column for the fields selected in the Original Text column in the specified language with GenAI.

  1. In the Select Language field, select a language.

Reset
Description:
Deletes all changes made to the eForm and its form controls.
To Open this Field:
  1. In the Select Language field, select a language.

Library
Description:
Shows the list of form controls from My Control Library.

When you expand the control, it shows the properties of the control where you can specify the translation.

  1. In the Select Language field, select a language.

Form
Description:
Shows the value of the buttons from Add a New Language > Standard tab. You can change the value of the buttons and name the section for the eForm.

Form Title
Description:
Specifies the title text for the eForm.
To Open this Field:
  1. In the Select Language field, select a language.
  2. Click the Form tab.
Allowed Values:
More than one line of text.

Description:
Saves the changes.
