In Data Entities, a record is a row of completed entity fields. In other words, it is an instances of a completed entity.
Form-Based Applications
In a form-based app, a record refers to the data that is submitted from an instance of an eForm.
Third-Party CRM Services
Most CRM services, such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM, use records, or a similar concept, like records in database tables.
NetSuite
In NetSuite, records can be associated with entities or custom record types. Because this can have a slightly different meaning in NetSuite, AgilePoint documentation usually uses the term entity recordto refer to records in NetSuite.
