In AgilePoint NX, a security group is a set of users with the same access right settings that are managed together in the AgilePoint NX system. For example, the application owner security group has permissions to publish, delete, import, export, and roll back the version of an application.
If you synchronize users and groups from Active Directory to AgilePoint NX, it is important to note that the groups that are synchronized are Active Directory security groups. The security group concept is similar in both AgilePoint NX and Active Directory. Other types of Active Directory groups, such as distribution list groups, are not synchronized with AgilePoint NX.
