A timer is a clock that controls the sequence of an process while counting in fixed intervals of time. It is used for producing precise time delay.

The main type of timer in AgilePoint NX is an activity timer. An activity timer tells a process to go forward if an activity is not Completed before the timer expires.

AgilePoint NX also has the Service Level Agreement activity, which lets you configure more advanced timers to change the direction of the process based on your business requirements.
