Import Records in an Entity

Prerequisites

• On the New Entity screen or Entity screen > Details tab, turn on Allow Record Import.
• Downloads records as an XML file or JSON file.

• AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

How to Start

1. Do one of these:
   • On the Entities screen, click an entity.
   • On the Home screen, click Security .
     1. On the Security screen, click an entity.
2. On the right side of the screen, click Ellipses (...) > Import Data.

Procedure

1. On the Import Data screen, click Select a file.
2. Select an XML file or JSON file from the local machine that contains the records to import.
3. Click Import.
