Description

Deletes one or more rows from a subform.

Parameters

The method input is an object with these parameters, and a callback function.

Field Name Definition

fieldId

Function:
Specifies the internal name of the subform for which to delete rows.

The internal name of your subform.

rowIndex

Function:
Specifies the row number to delete from a subform.
Type
string
Accepted Values:
An integer that represents the number of the row.

Output

A result object that gives the status and error details.

isSuccess

Function:
Specifies whether a pop-up shows when the method completes successfully.
Type
bool
Accepted Values:
  • True - The method was successful.
  • False - The method was not successful.

error

Function:
Specifies an error message if an error occurs.
Type
string
Accepted Values:
The contents of an error message.

Example

  options.fieldId = 'SubForm1';
  options.rowIndex = '*'; //Specifies rowIndex as asterisk (*) to delete all rows, or 
                           you can specify the row number with comma separation to delete 
                            specific rows. For example, '1,2'
