Show eForms in More than One Language

This topic gives an overview of the steps to create and run multilingual eForm, which are eForms that can show text in more than one language.

Prerequisites

Good to Know

  • When this procedure is complete, a form user can change the language of a language when the process runs.

For more information, refer to How Do I Change the Language on an eForm at Runtime?

  • If the eForm is configured for multilingual display, AgilePoint NX first tries to show the language that specified in the form user's profile. If a translation is not available for the user's language preference, the system shows the language that is set as the default for the eForm.

Procedure

  1. Configure an eForm to let form users change the language.
  2. Create a new language to translate the eForm.
Note: The first time you create a translation language, you must use the language English (United States) - en-US. Once this language is entered in the languages list, you can create new languages.
  3. Configure translation for the eForm.
  4. Publish a process-based application.
  5. The form user can change the language for the eForm from the drop-down list.
