direct predecessor

A direct predecessor is an activity that immediately precedes another activity in a process, and is directly connected to the activity. One activity can have more than one direct predecessor.

In this example, the Database Query Record and SharePoint Retrieve List Item activities are direct predecessors for the Salesforce Update Entity activity.
