Prerequisites
- On the App Builder Process Designer Settings screen, set Default App Wizard Experience to Modern.
- AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX Private Cloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 or higher.
Good to Know
- This example shows how to create a process-based app in the Modern Add an App Experience.
In this example, the app name is Absence Request app.
- When you create a new app, the first version is automatically checked in.
- This topic applies to the Modern Add an App Experience. For the Classic Add an App Experience, refer to (Example) Create a Process-Based App (Modern).
How to Start
- Click App Builder.
- On the App Explorer screen, click Add App.
Procedure
- On the What type of app would you like to build? screen, click Process-Based App.
- Click Next.
- On the How will people identify your app? screen, in the App Name field, enter Absence Request App.
- In the Category field, select Human Resources.
- Click Next.
- On the How do you want to set up your process? screen, in the Process Model Name field, enter Absence Request Process.
- In the Number of Swimlanes field, select 0.
- Click Next.
- On the Where do you want to store the data for your app? screen, select Blank.
- Click Next.
- On the Anything else right now? screen, click Next.
- On the Who can access your app? screen, click Next.
The Process Builder opens the Absence Request Process.
