Page Designers (permission group)

Page Designers develop and enhance custom pages over their lifecycle. Like Page Owners, different pages can have different Page Designers. Page Designers work with stakeholders to design and develop custom pages.

"Page designer" is sometimes also used as a general term for any AgilePoint NX user who uses Page Builder. For more information, refer to page designer.

This screen may look different in different places. The UI varies for this screen depending upon how you open it. However, the fields for this screen are the same in all places.

Page Designers Permission

Page Designers (Permission Group)	Page Designers configured in Page Builder is a permission group for users or groups who have access rights to change specific pages. Page Designers can be assigned at the global level or for an individual custom page: If Page Designers are assigned in Manage Center, they have access to all pages. If Page Designers are assigned in Page Builder, they have access to the individual pages where they are assigned. An AgilePoint NX tenant can have Page Designers assigned at both the global level and assigned to individual pages. If a custom page has one or more Page Designers, this permission group overrides the Page Designers configured in Manage Center. Permissions: Page Designers have these permissions: View a page in Page Builder. This only applies to pages where the user has Page Designer permissions or higher. A Page Designer assigned at the level of a specific page can not view pages where they do not have Page Designer permissions. Create custom pages. How to Start

Permission Groups for All Pages (Manage Center)

Click Manage.
In Manage Center, click App Management > Permissions.
On the Permissions screen, in the Page Builder Permissions sections, select Page Designers.

Permission Groups for Specific Pages (Page Builder)

Open the Custom Page Design screen.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Custom Page Design screen.
Click Ellipses (...) > Permissions.
On the Manage Permission Groups screen, in the Permission Group list, select Page Designers.

Specifies the users and groups who are Page Designers for all AgilePoint NX portal pages.

Field Name	Definition
Search	Function: Does a search based on the specified permission group members.
Add Members	Opens this Screen: Available Members screen Function of this Screen: Adds the specified users or groups to the Page Designers permission group.
Delete	Function: Deletes the selected users or groups from the Page Designers permission group. To Open this Field: Select one or more permission group members.
Audit Log	Opens this Screen: Audit Log screen Description: Shows the audit log for all custom pages in Page Builder.
Current Member	Description: Shows the members in the Page Designers permission group. Allowed Values: Read only.
Type	Description: Shows the types of members in the Page Designers permission group. Allowed Values: Read only.
Delete	Function: Deletes the specified user or group in the Page Designers permission group.

Adds members to a permission group.

Audit Log screen

Shows the audit log for all custom pages in Page Builder.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v9.0 or higher.

Download	Description: Downloads the audit log for the Page Builder permission groups as a Microsoft Excel file to your local machine.
Refresh	Function: Refreshes the audit log information.
