Entity Owners (permission group)

Entity Owners manage daily usage, maintenance, and monitoring of the entities they own. Different entities can have different entity owners. Entity Owners are the point of contact for users related to entity usage, daily monitoring, and so on. Entity Owners are also responsible for assigning entity level permissions to other users who use the entity.

Entity Owners (Permission Group)	Entity Owners is a permission group for users and groups who have access rights for a specific entity in Data Entities. Entity Owners for all entities in an AgilePoint NX tenant can be assigned in Manage Center. Entity Owners for individual entities can be assigned in Data Entities. If a specific entity has one or more Entity Owners, this permission group overrides the Entity Owners configured in Manage Center. Permissions: This permission group has these permissions for a specific entity: Manage permission groups. Delete custom entities. This applies locally or globally, depending upon the level of permission. These permissions from Entity Designers: View an entity in Data Entities. This only applies to entities where the user has Entity Designer permissions or higher. An Entity Designer assigned at the level of a specific entity can not view entities where they do not have Entity Designer permissions. Change custom entities. This applies locally or globally, depending upon the level of permission. Save entity. Publish entity. Export entity. Import entity. Change entity properties. Create fields. How to Start

Click Data Entities.
On the Data Entities Home screen, click Entities.
On the Entities screen, click an entity.
Click the Permissions tab.
On the Permissions tab, click Entity Owners.

Configures the Entity Owners for permission group. .

Field Name	Definition
Permission Group	Description: Shows the name of the permission group to which to add the users or groups. The value for this field depends on the permission group you selected on the Security screen > Permissions tab. Allowed Values: Read only.
All Users	Description: Specifies whether all AgilePoint users and groups are Entity Owners. Allowed Values: On - All AgilePoint users and groups are entity owners. Off - Only AgilePoint users and groups that are added in the Permission Groups, Roles, and Task Participants are entity owners. Default Value: Off
Add Members	Opens this Screen: Select Members screen Function: Adds the specified users or groups to the Entity Owners permission group. To Open this Field: On the Manage Permission Group screen, turn off the All Users field.
Name	Description: Shows the name of the users or groups in the Entity Owners permission group. Allowed Values: Read only.
Type	Description: Shows whether the type is user or group in the Entity Owners permission group. Allowed Values: Read only.
Delete Member	Description: Deletes the specified user or group in the Entity Owners permission group.
