How to Start

  1. Open eForm Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to eForm Builder screen.

  2. On the eForm Builder screen, in the Tool Box, open the Commmon Controls tab.

  3. On the Common Controls tab, drag a User List User List icon form control onto your eForm.

  1. Complete the settings on the configuration screens.

    You can use the Data screen screen to specify a variable.

Specifies the basic configuration for the User List form control.

Description:
Specifies the text label that shows on your form for the control.
Allowed Values:
One line of text (a string).

Internal Name

Description:
Specifies a unique, technical name for your control.
Allowed Values:

Description:
Specifies the text to shows when a runtime app user hovers their cursor over the form control.

Help Text Display

Description:
Specifies if the field shows the text in the Help Text field when the runtime app user hovers over the label or field.
Allowed Values:
  • None - Does not show the help text.
  • Hover On Label - Shows the help text when you put your mouse on the label.
  • Hover On Field - Shows the help text when you put your mouse on the field.
  • Hover On Both - Shows the help text when you put your mouse on the label and Field.

Description:
Specifies whether the people source search is with name or value.
Allowed Values:
  • Name - Searches for name.
  • Value - Searches for value.
  • Name/Value - Searches for name or value.

Sort By

Description:
Specifies whether to sort the users in the list based on user information.
Allowed Values:
The user information from the list.

This field completes when you select the user information from the Name or Value field.

Sort Order

Description:
Specifies whether to sort the result set in ascending or descending order.
Allowed Values:
Ascending - Sorts the result set in ascending order.
Descending - Sorts the result set in descending order.

Enable Multiple User Selection

Description:
Specifies if the form user can select more than one user in the form.
Allowed Values:
  • Deselected - You can not select more than one user in the form.
  • Selected - You can select more than one user in the form.

Include Disabled Users

Description:
Specifies whether you can select disabled users.

To select disabled user, the user must be disabled in Manage Center. For more information, refer to Users.

Allowed Values:
  • Selected - Lets you select disabled users.
  • Deselected - Lets you select only active users.

Maximum number of users to display by default

Description:
Specifies the maximum number of users to show in the list by default.
Allowed Values:
An integer.

Description:
Specifies whether to show only the users from a specified group or role, or to show all users on the form control.
Allowed Values:
  • Users from ANY of the selected group or roles - Shows only the users from a specified group or role on the control.
  • Users from ALL of the selected group or roles - Shows all users on the form control.

Users from any of the selected Group/Roles

Description:

Label CSS Class

Description:
Specifies a CSS class for the label of your control.

  • Focus - When an input field gets focus.

Description:

Data Security Settings

Description:
Specifies whether to store information from the field in the process schema, so the app can use it again, or to simply pass on the information after the form is submitted without storing the information. This option helps to protect sensitive user information.
Allowed Values:
  • Persist - Stores the data from the field in the process schema, so the app can use it again.
  • Do Not Persist - Does not store the data from the field in the process schema. This option provides greater security for sensitive user information.
