Delete an Entity Record in AgilePoint NX

Prerequisites

• AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

Good to Know

• In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.
• You can configure whether this activity waits for other activities before it runs.

How to Start

1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
   • Open a Process.
   • Create a Process.
2. Do one of these:
   • Add an activity:
     1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the AgilePoint Data Entities tab.
     2. On the AgilePoint Data Entities tab, drag the Delete Data Entity activity onto your process.
   • Change an activity:
     1. In your process, double-click your activity.
3. Click Delete Data Entity .

Procedure

1. On the Delete Record Configuration screen, in the Entity Name list, select your entity.
2. (Optional) Complete this field.

   Field Name	Definition
   Custom Entities Only	Function: Specifies whether to show only custom entities in the Primary Entity Name list. Accepted Values: Selected - Shows only the custom entities in the Primary Entity Name list. Deselected - Shows both standard entities and custom entities in the Primary Entity Name list. Default Value: Deselected Accepts Process Data Variables: No

3. In the Record ID field, enter an ID for a record to delete.
4. (Optional) Complete this field as necessary:

   Field Name	Definition
   Store Number Of Records Deleted	Function: Specifies a process data variable that stores the number of records that have been deleted. Each time a record is deleted, the variable increases by 1. Accepted Values: A process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
