Export Records activity

An activity that exports the records from an AgilePoint NX entity as an XML, JSON, or Microsoft Excel file to your repository.

Configure the Export Records activity

To configure the Export Records activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Prerequisites

On the New Entity screen or Entity screen > Details tab, turn on Allow Record Export.
AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX Private Cloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 or higher.

To send an email notification, click Advanced > Email Notifications .

How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Data Entities tab.
On the Data Entities tab, drag the Export Records activity onto your process.

Target Repository

Selects the target storage repository type for your file.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Amazon S3	Function: Specifies that Amazon S3 is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > Amazon S3.
Box	Function: Specifies that Box is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > Box.
Dropbox	Function: Specifies that Dropbox is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > Dropbox.
FTP	Function: Specifies that FTP is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > FTP.
Google Drive	Function: Specifies that Google Drive is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > Google Drive.
NetSuite	Function: Specifies that NetSuite is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > NetSuite.
OneDrive	Function: Specifies that OneDrive is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > OneDrive.
OneDrive for Business	Function: Specifies that OneDrive for Business is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > OneDrive for Business.
Salesforce	Function: Specifies that Salesforce is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > Salesforce.
SFTP	Function: Specifies that SFTP is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > SFTP.
SharePoint	Function: Specifies that SharePoint is the target location for your files. To configure the target location for your file, complete the fields in Export Records > Target Repository > SharePoint.

Export Records Configuration

Specifies the configuration to export the records from an AgilePoint NX entity as an XML, JSON, or Microsoft Excel file to your repository.

Standard Entities / Custom Entities	Function: Specifies whether to show standard (out-of-the-box) entities or custom entities in the Entity Name list. Accepted Values: Standard Entities - Shows standard (out-of-the-box) entities in the Entity Name list. Custom Entities - Shows custom entities in the Entity Name list. Default Value: Standard Entities
Entity	Function: Specifies an entity from which to download the records. Accepted Values: An entity name from the list. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Export as JSON / Export as XML / Export as Excel	Function: Specifies whether to download the records from an AgilePoint NX entity as an XML, JSON, or Microsoft Excel file to your repository. Accepted Values: Export as JSON - Downloads the records as a JSON file from the entity to the specified repository. Export as XML - Downloads the records as an XML file from entity to the specified repository. Export as Excel - Downloads the records as a Microsoft Excel file from entity to the specified repository. Default Value: Export as JSON Limitations: Support for Microsoft Excel files is available in these releases: AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud) AgilePoint NX Private Cloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 or higher
