How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.


    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Data Entities tab.

  3. On the Data Entities tab, drag the Upsert Picklist activity onto your process.

Specifies the information to create or change a custom picklist, if it exists, in AgilePoint NX.

Fields

Field NameDefinition

Internal Name

Function:
Specifies a unique, technical name to create or change the custom picklist.
Accepted Values:
One line of text (a string) with no spaces.
  • If you specify the internal name of a picklist that exists in Data Entities, the display name and description of the picklist are changed.
  • If the internal name does not exist, a new picklist is created.
  • After you create the Internal Name, you can not change it.
  • This value can not be the internal name for a standard picklist.

Display Name

Function:
Specifies the name that shows for the custom picklist that you create or change.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
  • If you specify the display name for a new picklist, the activity creates a new display name.
  • If you specify the display name for a picklist that exists in Data Entities, the activity changes the display name.

Description

Function:

Accepted Values:

  • If you specify the description for a picklist that exists in Data Entities, it changes the description.

Store Picklist ID In This Variable

Function:
Specifies the process data variable that stores the ID of a custom picklist you create or change.
Accepted Values:
A process data variable that accepts an alphanumeric string with no spaces or special characters.
