  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.


    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Data Entities tab.

  3. On the Data Entities tab, drag the Upsert Picklist Items activity onto your process.

Standard Picklists / Custom Picklists

Function:
Specifies whether to show standard (out of the box) picklists or custom picklists in the Picklist list.
Accepted Values:
  • Standard Picklists - Shows standard picklists in the Picklist list.
  • Custom Picklists - Shows custom picklists in the Picklist list.

Picklist

Function:
Specifies the picklist for which to create or change picklist items.

When you select the Standard Picklists or Custom Picklists field, this field shows the picklists associated with Standard Picklists or Custom Picklists field.

Accepted Values:
A picklist from the list.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Request Mapping

Function:
Connects your process schema to the picklist items.
Accepted Values:
Click the Schema Mapping Schema Mapping icon button to open the Schema Mapper screen.

Use this screen to connect the request to the data model for your process.
