Configure the Create Delegation activity

To configure the Create Delegation activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

To send an email notification, click Advanced > Email Notifications .

How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the AgilePoint NX tab.
On the AgilePoint NX tab, drag the Create Delegation activity onto your process.

Specifies the configuration to create a delegation in AgilePoint NX.

Originally Assigned	Function: Specifies the user name to whom the task was first assigned. Accepted Values: A valid user name in AgilePoint NX. A process data variable. You can use Process Data screen to specify a process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Delegated To	Function: Specifies the participant to whom to temporarily reassign a task when the assigned participant is not available. Accepted Values: A valid participant name. A process data variable. You can use Process Data screen to specify a process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Activate Now	Function: Specifies whether a delegation is active. Accepted Values: Selected - The delegation is active. Deselected - The delegation is not active. Default Value: Selected
Description	Function: A description of the delegation. Accepted Values: More than one line of text. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Store Delegation ID In This Variable	Function: Specifies a process data variable that stores the ID of the delegation. The delegation ID comes from AgilePoint NX. Accepted Values: A process data variable that accepts an alphanumeric string with no spaces or special characters. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes

Create Delegation Configuration > Scheduled Time

Specifies the configuration to start a delegation in AgilePoint NX.
