Edit Role activity

An activity that change the access rights for a role in AgilePoint NX.

Configure the Edit Role activity

To configure the Edit Role activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

To send an email notification, click Advanced > Email Notifications .

This activity does the same action as Edit Role screen in Manage Center.

How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the AgilePoint NX tab.
On the AgilePoint NX tab, drag the Edit Role activity onto your process.

Edit Role Configuration

Specifies the configuration to change a role in AgilePoint NX.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
AgilePoint NX	Function: Specifies the access token that connects to your AgilePoint NX environment. Accepted Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Create	Opens this Screen: Access Token for AgilePoint NX Function of this Screen: Configure an access token to connect to AgilePoint NX.
Role Name	Function: Specifies the name of the role to change. Accepted Values: A role from the list. A process data variable. You can use Process Data screen to specify a process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Description	Function: Shows the description of the role. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. A process data variable. You can use Process Data screen to specify a process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Role Permissions	Function: Shows all the list of access rights that you can give for a role. Accepted Values: An access control from the list. Default Value: None
Left Arrow	Function: Moves the selected fields from the Roles Permission box to the Selected Permission box.
Right Arrow	Function: Moves the selected fields from the Selected Permission box to the Roles Permission box.
Select All	Function: Selects all the fields.
Selected Permission	Function: Specifies the access rights for the role. Accepted Values: A list of access controls moved from the Roles Permission box using the Left Arrow button. To remove a access control from the list, select the column, and then click the Right Arrow button. Default Value: None
