Good to Know

  • ​​To send an e-mail notification, click Advanced Advanced icon > E-mail Notifications E-mail Notifications icon.

  • In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.
  • You can configure whether this activity waits for other activities before it runs.

How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
    • Open a Process.
    • Create a Process.
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, go to the Activity Library, and open the SharePoint SharePoint icon tab.
      2. On the SharePoint SharePoint icon tab, drag the Update Navigation Link Update Navigation Link icon activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

    Note: You must include the /sites in the Site URL for the site to be created successfully.

Navigation Type

Function:
Specifies the type of navigation link to create or change on your SharePoint site.
Accepted Values:
  • Top Link Bar - The link is in the row of tabs at the top of the page on the site.
  • Quick Launch - The link is on the side of the page on the site.

Function:
Specifies the navigation link to change on your site.
Accepted Values:
A string in URL format.
Default Value:
None

Function:
Specifies the destination URL for your the navigation link.
