Configure the PDF Converter activity

To configure the PDF Converter activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.


    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Document tab.

  3. On the Document tab, drag the PDF Converter activity onto your process.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.
  2. Click Source Configuration Source Configuration icon.
  3. On the Source Repository screen, select the source location of your file to convert to PDF format.
  4. Click Target Configuration Target Configuration icon.
  5. On the Target Repository screen, select the target location for your output PDF file.
  6. Click PDF Converter Configuration PDF Converter Configuration icon.
  7. Complete the fields on the PDF Converter Configuration screen.

  8. (Optional) Click Advanced Advanced icon > Email Notifications E-mail Notifications icon.

    For more information, refer to Email Notifications screen (Process Activities).

Specifies the source location of your file to convert to PDF format.

File Types

Description:
Specifies the types of files to be converted to PDF format.

This is not one field. It gives all the options on the PDF Converter Configuration screen together.

Allowed Values:
  • File types - You can select one or more file types to convert. Other file types at your specified location are not converted.
  • Groups of file types - You can select groups of file types, such as all document types (Select All Document Types) all image types (Select All Image Types), or all file types (Select All Types).
Default Value:
All deselected
Accepts Variables:
No

Target Repository

Specifies the target location for your output PDF file.
