Prerequisites

• AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX Private Cloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

• In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.
• You can configure whether this activity waits for other activities before it runs.

How to Start

1. On the App Explorer screen, do one of these:
   • Open a Process.
   • Create a Process.
2. Do one of these:
   • Add an activity:
     1. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Document tab.

        
        
        

     2. On the Document tab, drag the Barcode Reader activity onto your process.

        
        
        

   • Change an activity:
     1. In your process, double-click your activity.
3. Click Barcode Reader Configuration .

Procedure

1. On the Barcode Reader Configuration screen, in the Store Barcode Text in this Variable field, specifies the process data variable that stores an information about the barcode text.
