Portal Settings for Page Builder

These are the NX Portal settings for Page Builder.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

Good to Know

Only the NX Portal Administrator can configure these settings in the Portal.

How to Start

Click Settings .
Click Build Apps > Build Pages.

Global Security Groups

Specifies the security groups for all pages in Page Builder.

How to Start

In the Manage Center, click Application Management > Permissions.
On the Permissions screen, click Page Builder Permissions.

Manage Global Permission	Manage global permission is a type of user or group who has full permissions for all pages in AgilePoint NX Page Builder. The members of manage global permission security group can add page, edit, check out and check in the page on behalf of other users, save, preview, publish, rollback, and delete page, and can also manage permissions for other users and groups on all pages. They can also create and edit menus and CSS snippets. The page owner role gives similar permissions for an individual page in Page Builder. Manage Global Permission

Manage global permission is a type of user or group who has full permissions for all pages in AgilePoint NX Page Builder. The members of manage global permission security group can add page, edit, check out and check in the page on behalf of other users, save, preview, publish, rollback, and delete page, and can also manage permissions for other users and groups on all pages. They can also create and edit menus and CSS snippets.

The page owner role gives similar permissions for an individual page in Page Builder.

Global Page Designers

A user or group who can design any page by adding column and row in AgilePoint NX Page Builder. The members of global page designers security group can add page, check out, check in, edit, design, save, preview, publish, and rollback a page. They can also create and edit menus and CSS snippets

Page designers have page-level permissions that are specific for a page.

You can assign the page designer role at the individual page level in Page Builder.

The page owners and manage global permission can manage the permissions for page designers.

Page-Level Roles

Specifies the roles for a specific page.

How to Start

Click Build Pages .
On the Pages screen, do one of these:
- Create a Custom Page.
- Open a custom page.
On the right side of a page, click Ellipses (...) > Security .

You can assign the page designer role for all pages in the Manage Center. Permissions: These permissions apply to a specified page: Edit page. Save page. Preview page. Publish page. Roll back page. Page Viewer	Function: A page viewer is a user or group who can see a page, but can not add or delete the page, in Page Builder. Permissions: View a specified page.	Manage Security screen.
