Export Application activity

An activity that exports an application from AgilePoint NX to your repository.



Configure the Export Application activity

To configure the Export Application activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

  • In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.
  • This activity does the same action as Export an Application in App Builder.
  • You can configure whether this activity waits for other activities before it runs.

How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the AgilePoint NX AgilePoint NX icon tab.
      2. On the AgilePoint NX AgilePoint NX icon tab, drag the Export Application Export Application icon activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

  2. Click Export Application Export Application icon.
  3. Complete the fields on the Export Application Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Export an Application from an Application.

  4. Click Target Configuration Target Configuration icon.
  5. On the Target Repository screen, select the target location for your file.
  6. (Optional) Click Advanced Advanced icon > E-mail Notifications E-mail Notifications icon.

Application Name

Function:
Specifies a name for your application to which to export.

Specifies whether to check in the changes to the files from the previous version and export.
Accepted Values:
  • Selected - Check in the changes to the files from the previous version and export.
  • Deselected - Cancel, or undo the check out the files and export.
