To configure the Edit Role activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the AgilePoint NX AgilePoint NX icon tab.
      2. On the AgilePoint NX AgilePoint NX icon tab, drag the Edit Role Edit Role icon activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Specifies the configuration to change a role in AgilePoint NX.

Function:
Specifies the access token that connects to your AgilePoint NX.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:

Accepts Process Data Variables:

Role Name

Function:
Specifies the name of the role to change.
Accepted Values:
  • A role from the list.
  • A process data variable.

    You can use Process Data screen to specify a process data variable.

Shows the description of the role.
Accepted Values:
  • One line of text that can have spaces.

Role Permission

Function:
Shows all the list of access rights that you can give for a role.
Accepted Values:
An access control from the list.
Default Value:
None

Left Arrow Left Arrow icon

Function:
Moves the selected fields from the Roles Permission box to the Selected Permission box.

Right Arrow Right Arrow icon

Function:
Moves the selected fields from the Selected Permission box to the Roles Permission box.

Select All

Function:
Selects all the fields.

Selected Permission

Function:
Specifies the access rights for the role.
Accepted Values:
A list of access controls moved from the Roles Permission box using the Left Arrow Left Arrow icon button.

To remove a access control from the list, select the column, and then click the Right Arrow Right Arrow icon button.
