Process Migration screen

Shows the process migration configuration suggested by the AgilePoint system based on an automated analysis of your process versions. Review the suggested migration, and change the target activities you want to map from the current process version if necessary.

Prerequisites

Pause your process instance.
For more information, refer to Processes screen

How to Start

Click Manage.
In Manage Center, click Runtime Management > Processes.
On the Processes screen, select a suspended process.
Click Migrate.
On the Migrate Process Model To A Different Version screen, in the Migrate to process model version field, select a version.
Click Ok.

Manual Mapping

Specifies how to do the process migration manually from current process version to the target process version.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Filter By	Description: Specifies the sort order of the activities to migrate. Allowed Values: All - Shows all the activities from your process version and the target process version. New - Shows the new activity added to the target process version. Deleted - Shows the activity deleted from the current process version. All Differences - Shows the differences between current process version and target process version. Default Value: All - Shows all the activities from your process version and the target process version. New - Shows the new activity added to the target process version. Deleted - Shows the activity deleted from the current process version. All Differences - Shows the differences between current process version and target process version.
Activity in Current Process Version	Opens this Screen: Shows the name of the activity in the current process version. Allowed Values: Read only.
Mapping	Opens this Screen: Shows the status of mapping between current process version and target process version. Allowed Values: Read only.
Activity in Target Process Version	Opens this Screen: Specifies the name of the activity in the target process version. Allowed Values: A list of activity names in the target process version.
Maximize	Function: Shows the process at its maximum size.
Save Instruction File	Description: Saves an XML file that contains instructions to do a bulk migration. This instruction file is must be used in an APADM command to complete the migration, either by the AgilePoint System User (AgilePoint NX OnPremises) or AgilePoint Customer Support (AgilePoint NX OnDemand).
Migrate	Description: Changes the process to the new process model version.

Visual Mapping

Specifies how to do the process migration in the process model from current process version to the target process version.

Remove Mapping	Description: Deletes the selected activities from the target process model.
Maximize	Function: Shows the process at its maximum size.
Save Instruction File	Description: Saves an XML file that contains instructions to do a bulk migration. This instruction file is must be used in an APADM command to complete the migration, either by the AgilePoint System User (AgilePoint NX OnPremises) or AgilePoint Customer Support (AgilePoint NX OnDemand).

Open in New Tab	Description: Opens a process instance in a new tab with full screen mode.
