Filters screen

Filters the records on the Entity screen > Data tab.

Background and Setup

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 Software Update 2 or higher.

How to Start

Click Data Entities.
On the Data Entities Home screen, click Entities.
On the Entities screen, click an entity.
Click the Data tab.
On the Data tab, click Filters .

Filters > Filter Configuration tab

Configures the filter criteria for the records.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Maximum Records	Description: Specifies the maximum number of records to show on the Entity screen > Data tab. Allowed Values: An integer. Default Value: 1000
Order By	Description: Specifies the entity field to sequence how the records show on the Entity screen > Data tab. Allowed Values: An entity field from the list. Default Value: Last Modified Date
Order	Description: Specifies the sort order the records show on the Entity screen > Data tab. Allowed Values: Ascending - Sorts the records in ascending order. Descending - Sorts the records in descending order. Default Value: Descending
Close	Description: Closes the Filters screen.
Reset	Description: Restores the default settings for the Filters configuration.
Apply	Function: Uses the configured filter options to show the list of records.

Configures the values for the entity fields to filter the records.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Entity Field Name	Description: Shows the name of the entity field by which to filter the records. Allowed Values: Read only.
Comparer	Description: Shows the operator to use in the filter. Allowed Values: Read only.
Value	Description: Specifies a value for the entity field to filter the records to show on the Entity screen > Data tab. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string) with a value or partial value for the specified entity field. Default Value: None
Close	Description: Closes the Filters screen.
Reset	Description: Restores the default settings for the Filters configuration.
Apply	Function: Uses the configured filter options to show the list of records.

Configures how to group the records.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Group By	Description: Specifies the entity field to group the records. This field only shows the custom fields that are not configured as unique. For more information, refer to the Is Unique field on the Entity screen > Fields tab. Allowed Values: An entity field from the list. Default Value: None
Close	Description: Closes the Filters screen.
Reset	Description: Restores the default settings for the Filters configuration.
Apply	Function: Uses the configured filter options to show the list of records.

Configures how to sort the entity fields.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Visible	Description: Specifies whether to show the entity field on the Entity screen > Data tab. Allowed Values: On - Shows the entity field on the Data tab. Off - Does not show the entity field on the Data tab. Default Value: On
Order	Description: Specifies the order the entity fields show on the Entity screen > Data tab. Allowed Values: An integer.
Entity Field Names	Description: Shows the list of entity fields added on the Entity screen > Fields tab. This field only shows the custom fields that are not configured as unique. For more information, refer to the Is Unique field on the Entity screen > Fields tab. Allowed Values: Read only.
