Creates a folder in Page Builder to organize pages and content.

Prerequisites

Good to Know

  • If you put a custom page in a folder, it does not change the URL for the page. Folders simply let you organize content in Page Builder.

How to Start

  1. Click Page Builder.

    Build Pages
  2. On the Home screen, in the left pane, click Page Designer.

    Click Page Designer
  3. On the Page Builder screen, click Add Folder.

    Click Add Folder

Fields

Field NameDefinition

Parent Folder Name

Function:
Shows the name of the folder in which to create a subfolder.
Accepted Values:
Read only.
Default Value:
None

Folder Name

Function:
Specifies the name of the folder to create.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None

Internal Name

Function:
Specifies a unique, technical name for the folder.

When you click on this field, the field shows the internal name by default. You can also specify a custom internal name. After the internal name is created, you can not change it.

Accepted Values:
One line of text (a string) that can have letters and numbers, and can not have spaces or special characters. Hyphens (-) are accepted.
Default Value:
None

Description

Function:
Specifies an optional text description for the folder.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:
None

Save

Function:
Saves the folder.
