Export Entity Model screen

Downloads an entity template from AgilePoint NX Data Entities to your local machine as an XML file, a JSON file, or a Microsoft Excel file.

Prerequisites

How to Start

  1. Click App Builder.

    Build Apps screen
  2. On the App Explorer screen, click Data Entities.

    Click Data Entities Screen
  3. On the Data Entities Home screen, click Entities.

    Click Entities
  4. On the Entities screen, click an entity.

  5. On the right side of the screen, click Ellipses (...) > Export Entity Model.

    Click Export Entity Model

Fields

Entity To Export
Function:
Shows an entity to download.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Export With Data
Function:
Downloads records from an entity as an XML file, JSON file, or Microsoft Excel file to your local machine.
Accepted Values:
  • On - Downloads records from an entity as an XML file, JSON file, or Microsoft Excel file.
  • Off - Downloads entity without records as an XML file, JSON file, or Microsoft Excel file.
Default Value:
Off

Export As Excel
Function:
Downloads an AgilePoint NX entity template as a Microsoft Excel file to your local machine.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Export Entity Model screen, click Export.

Export As JSON
Function:
Downloads an AgilePoint NX entity template as a JSON file to your local machine.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Export Entity Model screen, click Export.

Export as XML
Function:
Downloads an AgilePoint NX entity template as an XML file to your local machine.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Export Entity Model screen, click Export.
