Search

Function:

Does a search for security permissions.

To Open this Field:

Next to the search box, click the Ellipses (...) button.

Accepted Values:

• Search By Users - Searches security permissions for a specified user.
• Search By Group - Searches security permissions for a specified group.

Save

Function:

Saves the security permissions for an entity.

Refresh

Function:

Updates the information on the screen.

Entity Name

Opens this Screen:

Entity screen > Permissions tab.

Function of this Screen:

Specifies permissions for entities and records.

Owner

Function:

Shows whether the entity has the Entity Owners permission group assigned to the specified user or group from the list.

Accepted Values:

• Selected - The entity has the Entity Owners permission group assigned to users or groups.
• Deselected - The entity has no Entity Owners permission group assigned to users or groups.

Designer

Function:

Shows whether the entity has the Entity Designers permission group assigned to the specified user or group from the list.

Accepted Values:

• Selected - The entity has the Entity Designers permission group assigned to users or groups.
• Deselected - The entity has no Entity Designers permission group assigned to users or groups.

Read

Function:

Shows whether the entity has the Read Records permission group assigned to the specified user or group from the list.

Accepted Values:

• Selected - The entity has the Read Records permission group assigned to users or groups.
• Deselected - The entity has no Read Records permission group assigned to users or groups.

Create

Function:

Shows whether the entity has the Create Records permission group assigned to the specified user or group from the list.

Accepted Values:

• Selected - The entity has the Create records permission group assigned to users or groups.
• Deselected - The entity has no Create records permission group assigned to users or groups.

Edit

Function:

Shows whether the entity has the Edit Records permission group assigned to the specified user or group from the list.

Accepted Values:

• Selected - The entity has the Edit Records permission group assigned to users or groups.
• Deselected - The entity has no Edit Records permission group assigned to users or groups.

Delete

Function:

Shows whether the entity has the Delete Records permission group assigned to the specified user or group from the list.

Accepted Values:

• Selected - The entity has the Delete Records permission group assigned to users or groups.
• Deselected - The entity has no Delete Records permission group assigned to users or groups.
