Prerequisites

How to Start

  1. Click App Builder.

    Build Apps screen
  2. On the App Explorer screen, click Data Entities.

    Click Data Entities Screen
  3. On the Data Entities Home screen, click Entities.

    Click Entities
  4. On the Entities screen, click an entity.

  5. On the right side of the screen, click the Ellipses (...) > Clone Entity.

    Click Clone Entity

Entity To Clone

Function:
Shows the name of the entity to be cloned.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Cloned Entity Display Name

Function:
Specifies the name for the entity clone that shows in AgilePint NX.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None

Cloned Entity Internal Name

Function:
Specifies the technical name for the entity clone.

This value can not be changed.

Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.

Fields to exclude

Function:
Specifies entity fields that you do not want to include in the entity clone.
Accepted Values:
Any number of entity fields from the list.
Default Value:
None

Clone With Permissions

Function:
Specifies whether to create a copy of an entity that includes the configured entity permissions.
Accepted Values:
  • Selected - Creates a copy of an entity that includes the permissions configured for the entity.
  • Deselected - Creates a copy of an entity with no entity permissions configured.
Default Value:
Deselected
