Repository Details for File System

Specifies the location of your files in on the AgilePoint Server machine for the File Upload form control.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnPremises or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud.
The File System data source stores files on the AgilePoint Server machine or a shared drive in Windows. These files can only be accessed through NX Portal. They cannot be accessed through the AgilePoint Dashboard apps in external systems, such as SharePoint, Salesforce, or mobile apps.

On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
- Configure a document repository for an eForm:
  1. Do one of these:
    - Open an eForm.
    - Create an eForm in a Process.
  2. Do one of these:
    - Add a File Upload control:
      1. On the eForm Builder screen, in the Toolbox, open the Common Controls tab.
      2. On the Common Controls tab, drag a File Upload form control onto your eForm.
    - Change a File Upload control:
      1. On your eForm, click the control, and click Edit .
  3. On the Configure tab, click Add Repository .
- Configure a document repository for an application:
  1. On the right pane, click Quick Links.
  2. On the Quick Links screen, click Add Document Repository.
On the Choose Document Repository screen screen, select File System , and click Next.

Field Name	Definition
Name	Function: The name of the target repository. Accepted Values: One line of text with no spaces. Default Value: None Example: Refer to: (Example) Configure a Document Transfer activity
File System Folder Path	Function: Specifies the target folder path for the file upload. Accepted Values: An absolute file path on your AgilePoint Server machine. Default Value: None
New Folder	Function: Specifies the name of the folder to create in the repository. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
Overwrite If File Exists	Function: Specifies if the activity replaces the file if it already exist with the same name at the specified target location. Accepted Values: Deselected - The activity saves the file with a different name. Selected - The activity replaces the file if it exists with the same name at the target location. Default Value: Selected
