How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
    • Configure a document repository for an eForm:
      1. Do one of these:

        • Add a File Upload File Upload icon control:
          1. On the eForm Builder screen, in the Toolbox, open the Common Controls Common Controls icon tab.
          2. On the Common Controls Common Controls icon tab, drag a File Upload File Upload icon form control onto your eForm.
        • Change a File Upload File Upload icon control:
          1. On your eForm, click the control, and click Edit Edit icon.
      3. On the Configure tab, click Add Repository Add Repository icon.
    • Configure a document repository for an application:
      1. On the right pane, click Quick Links.
      2. On the Quick Links screen, click Add Document Repository.
  2. On the Choose Document Repository screen screen, select Amazon S3 Amazon S3 icon, and click Next.

Function:
Specifies the path of the folder.
Accepted Values:
  • Choose Folder Path - Specifies an absolute path for the folder.
  • Dynamic Folder Path - Specifies a process data variable that stores the relative path of the folder.

Function:
Specifies the name of the folder to create in the repository.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.

Overwrite If File Exists

Function:
Specifies if the activity replaces the file if it already exist with the same name at the specified target location.
Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - The activity saves the file with a different name.
  • Selected - The activity replaces the file if it exists with the same name at the target location.

Download Link Expiry

Function:
Specifies whether to set the expiry time for the download link.
Accepted Values:
  • Never Expire - The download link never expires.
  • Expire After - The download link expires after a specified time.

    The download link for these regions expires in 7 days because of regional restrictions. If you select Expire After, it will expire after 7 days:

    • US East (Ohio) Region
    • Canada (Central) Region
    • Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region
    • Asia Pacific (Seoul) Region
    • EU (Frankfurt) Region
    • EU (London) Region
    • China (Beijing) Region

Number

Function:
Specifies the number of time units for the download link to expire.
To Open this Field:
  1. In the Download Link Expiry field, select Expire After.
Accepted Values:
An integer.

The value can not make the expiry later than the calendar year 2037.

Note: All regions that do not support non-expiring download links have a default value of 7. This value can not be changed.
