Clone an Entity
To clone an entity, do the procedure in this topic.
Prerequisites
- AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.
How to Start
- Do one of these:
- On the Entities screen, click an entity.
- On the Home screen,
click Security
.
- On the Security screen, click an entity.
- On the right side of the screen, click the Ellipses (...)
> Clone Entity
.
Procedure
- On the Clone Entity screen,
complete these fields
as necessary.
Field Name Definition Cloned Entity Display Name
- Function:
- Specifies the name for the entity clone that shows in AgilePint NX.
- Accepted Values:
- One line of text that can have spaces.
- Default Value:
- None
Cloned Entity Name
- Function:
- Specifies the technical name for the
entity clone.
This value can not be changed.
- Accepted Values:
- One line of text that can have spaces.
- Default Value:
- None
- Click Clone.
