Microsoft Teams AgileConnector

This AgilePoint Server extension (AgileConnector) lets you connect to Microsoft Teams to send notifications in AgilePoint NX.

Prerequisites

How to Start

  1. On the AgilePoint Server machine, in Windows Explorer, right-click the file (AgilePoint Server installation folder) C:\Program Files\AgilePoint\AgilePoint Server\WCFConfigurationUtility.exe, and click Run as Administrator.

  2. On the AgilePoint Server Manager screen, in the left pane, select your AgilePoint Server instance.

  3. Click Open Server Configuration Open Server Configuration icon.

  4. On the AgilePoint Server Configuration screen, click the Integrations tab.

Enable the Microsoft Teams AgileConnector

To enable the Microsoft Teams AgileConnector, ​ do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the AgilePoint Server Configuration screen, in the Integrations tab, click Add.

Procedure

  1. In the Impersonator field, enter the AgilePoint user name that is used to connect to your e-mail server.

    By default, this is the AgilePoint Service Account.

  2. Go to the assembly (AgilePoint Server installation folder) C:\Program Files\AgilePoint\AgilePoint Server\bin\AgilePoint.AgileConnector.MicrosoftTeams.dll.

  1. On the AgilePoint Server Configuration screen, in the Integrations tab, select Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click Configure.

Retry

Description:
Specifies the number of times you want to retry an operation that failed due to a "Too Many Requests" exception.
Allowed Values:

Delay in Retries

Description:
Specifies the number of seconds to wait between retries after an operation fails due to a "Too Many Requests" error.
Allowed Values:
An integer.
Default Value:
30

Thread Pool

Description:
Specifies the maximum number of connections Microsoft Teams can have to AgilePoint Server at the same time.
Allowed Values:
An integer.
Default Value:
1

Time Interval

Description:
The timer interval, in seconds, used by Microsoft Teams to check for notifications in the workflow database.

To improve performance, on a production system, this value is often set to 3600 seconds, or 1 hour.

Allowed Values:
An integer.

Trace Mode

Description:
Specifies whether the AgileConnector writes detailed information in the log file.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - Specifies that the AgileConnector writes detailed information in the log file.
  • Deselected - Specifies that the AgileConnector does not write detailed information in the log file.
