How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the MS Dynamics 365 tab.
On the MS Dynamics 365 tab, drag the Send Email activity onto your process.

General Configuration

Specifies the basic settings for the Send E-mail activity.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Display Name	Function: Specifies the activity name that shows in your process. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Connection Timeout (Seconds)	Function: Specifies the number of seconds permitted to complete an action before the connection stops. Accepted Values: An integer, representing a number of seconds. Default Value: 600 Accepts Process Data Variables: No

Sets the e-mail template to send an e-mail with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

MS Dynamics 365	Function: Specifies the access token that connects to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 application. Accepted Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Create	Opens this Screen: Access Token for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Function of this Screen: Configure an access token to connect to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Example: Refer to: (Example) How to Get the Access Token Credentials from Microsoft Dynamics 365
Entity Name	Function: Specifies the name for your entity. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Default Value: None When you select the Microsoft Dynamics 365 access token, the name of the entity shows in the Entity Name field. Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Available Template	Function: Specifies the email template to use. Accepted Values: An email template name from the list. Default Value: None. When you select the entity name from Entity Name field, the name of the template shows in this field.
Template ID	Function: Specifies your e-mail template ID. Accepted Values: The ID for your e-mail template. Default Value: None. When you select the name of the template from Available Template field, the correct ID shows in this field. From (User)	Function: Specifies a Microsoft Dynamics 365 user ID for the user from whom an e-mail is sent. If you keep this field empty, the activity gets the credentials from the specified access token in the MS Dynamics 365 field. Accepted Values: A Microsoft Dynamics 365 user ID. A process data variable that stores a Dynamics 365 user ID. You can use Process Data screen to specify a process data variable. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes Limitations: Some information about third-party integrations is outside the scope of the AgilePoint NX Product Documentation.
