An activity that creates a Microsoft PowerPoint file from a PowerPoint template.

Configure the PowerPoint activity

To configure the PowerPoint activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Prerequisites

Create a PowerPoint Template with Process Data Variables.
AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX Private Cloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Document tab.
On the Document tab, drag the PowerPoint activity onto your process.

Procedure

Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.
Click Source Configuration .
On the Source Repository screen, select the source location of your PowerPoint template file.
Click Target Configuration .
On the Target Repository screen, select the target location for your output Microsoft PowerPoint file.
Click PowerPoint Configuration .
Complete the fields on the PowerPoint Configuration screen.

(Optional) Click Advanced > Email Notifications .

Source Repository

Specifies the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file.

Amazon S3	Function: Specifies that Amazon S3 is the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file. To select your PowerPoint template file in the source location, complete the fields on PowerPoint > Source Repository > Amazon S3.
Box	Function: Specifies that Box is the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file. To select your PowerPoint template file in the source location, complete the fields on PowerPoint > Source Repository > Box.
Dropbox	Function: Specifies that Dropbox is the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file. To select your PowerPoint template file in the source location, complete the fields on PowerPoint > Source Repository > Dropbox.
File System	Function: Specifies that the file system on the AgilePoint Server machine is the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file. To select your PowerPoint template file in the source location, complete the fields on PowerPoint > Source Repository > File System.
FTP	Function: Specifies that FTP is the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file. To select your PowerPoint template file in the source location, complete the fields on PowerPoint > Source Repository > FTP.
Google Drive	Function: Specifies that Google Drive is the source location of your Microsoft PowerPoint template file. To select your PowerPoint template file in the source location, complete the fields on PowerPoint > Source Repository > Google Drive.
