Translate Picklist Items screen

Configures the languages to translate the picklist items.

Prerequisites

On the Picklist Details screen:
- Turn on Enable Translation.
- In the Select Languages For Translation field, select the languages to use for translation.
AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v9.0 Software Update 1 or higher.

How to Start

Click Data Entities.
On the Data Entities Home screen, click Picklists .
On the Picklists screen, click a picklist.
On the Picklist Itemsscreen, click Ellipses (...) > Translate Picklist Items.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Language	Description: Specifies the languages to translate the picklist items. The languages selected in this field show as a column name on the Picklists > Items screen screen. The translated items are shown under the associated language. Allowed Values: One or more languages from the list. This field shows the languages configured in the Select Languages For Translation field on the Picklist Details screen. Default Value: None
Select All	Description: Selects all the picklist items. Allowed Values: Selected - Selects all the picklist items. Deselected - Deselects all the picklist items.
Display Name	Description: Shows the name of the picklist item. Allowed Values: Read only.
Translated Value	Description: Specifies the locale text for the picklist items. When you click the Translate With AI field, this field shows the translated text for the selected items. To Open this Field: In the Language field, select a language. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string). Accepted: Letters Numbers Spaces Special characters Default Value: None
Translate With AI	Description: Creates the localized text for the picklist items with GenAI in the specified languages. GenAI creates the localized text only for the selected items. To Open this Field: In the Language field, select a language. Select a picklist item. Limitations: To use GenAI for translation: An AgilePoint license that supports GenAI. The user must have the Allow Generative AI Access access right to use Generative AI. The user must be a member of any permission group for Data Entities. On the Data Entities screen (Settings), turn on Allow Gen AI.
Clear All	Function: Deletes the changes for the picklist items.
Save	Function: Saves the locale text for the picklist items.
