(Example) Activate a Delegation in Manage Center
This example shows how to activate a delegation in Manage Center.
Background and Setup
Prerequisites
- A delegation in inactive status.

Good to Know
- As a best practice, especially in large organizations, delegations are created for employees before they are required to be acitve.
- For the use case in this example, a user with the necessary access rights activates a delegation when the employee John Smith is away from work.
How to Start
- Click Manage.
- In Manage Center, click Access Control > Delegations.
Procedure
- On the Delegations screen, in the Status field, select Created.
- Select a delegation.
- Click Edit.
- In the Status field, turn on the Active / Inactive field.
- Click Save.
