Sends an SMS notification from a human task activity when an event occurs in a process.

How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.


    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, drag any human task activity onto your process.

    Drag Any Human Task Activity
  3. Configure the human task activity.

  4. On the configuration screen, click Advanced > SMS Notifications.

Assigned

Function:
Specifies the name of an SMS template you can use to send a message when the task is Assigned.

Reassigned

Function:
Specifies the name of an SMS template you can use to send a message when the task is Reassigned to new participants.

Completed

Function:
Specifies the name of an SMS template you can use to send a message when a task is Completed.

Cancelled

Function:
Specifies the name of an SMS template you can use to send a message when a task is Cancelled.

Overdue

Function:
Specifies the name of an SMS template you can use to send a message when a task is Overdue.

SMS Template

Function:
Specifies the SMS template you want to use for the message.
Accepted Values:
A list of SMS templates in the system.
Default Value:
  • None
  • An SMS template, if one exists.

Function of this Screen:
Specifies the content of SMS template. An SMS template determines template name, message, and other aspects of an automated SMS template sent from AgilePoint NX.

Edit Edit icon

Function:
Changes the content for the selected SMS template.
To Open this Field:
  1. In the SMS Template field, select a template.

Message

Function:
Specifies the content of the message.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Complete the Assigned, Reassigned or Overdue task by responding the SMS message

Function:
If selected, completes a task using a response to the automated message.

The message must come from the same message technology as the outgoing message. For example, the user must use SMS to respond to an SMS message.

Accepted Values:
Read only.

Keyword

Function:
Shows an approval keyword which sets the Xpath node to True or False when a participant enters it in a message. This usually applies to approvals.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Xpath

Function:
Shows a schema element that stores the approval keyword specified by the approver.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.

Message

Function:
Specifies the content of the message.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:

Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Complete the Assigned, Reassigned or Overdue task by responding the SMS message

Function:
Completes a task using a response to the automated message.

An XPath to a schema element in Boolean format.
