Lets you change the configuration settings for an activity.

Good to Know

  • The toolbar options are different for different activity. Your activity may not show all of these.

How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.


    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, drag any activity onto your process.

    Drag Start Task eForms
  3. Click Activity Settings Activity Settings icon.

    Click Activity Settings

Fields

Configure Activity Configure Activity icon
Opens this Screen:
The configuration screen that opens depends on the activity. Different screens open for different activities.

Add Timer Add Timer icon
Function:
Creates a timer to the activity to make a process wait for a specified time.

If the user creates a timer, a new arrow shows on the activity, which represents an if/then condition. If the timer expires, then the process goes in a different direction. To specify what happens if the timer expires, connect the dotted red arrow to another process activity.

Remove Timer Remove Timer icon
Function:
Deletes a timer from the activity.

Minimize Minimize icon
Function:
Shows the activity at its minimum size.

Maximize Maximize icon
Function:
Shows the activity at its maximum size.

BPMN BPMN icon
Opens this Screen:
BPMN Properties screen
Function of this Screen:
Configures the BPMN properties for an activity

Copy Copy icon

Function:
Copies the activity from its original place and create a duplicate copy of the activity at the desired location without deleting the configuration from the original location.

Paste Paste icon

Function:
Inserts the copied activity before or after the activity in your process.

Delete Delete icon

Function:
Deletes the selected activity in your process.

Opens this Screen:
Form Details screen
Function of this Screen:
Creates a human task form for an app.

Edit eForm Edit eForm icon

Function:
Adds, changes, or deletes a form control on your eForm.

Insert Activity Before Insert Activity Before icon

Function:
Inserts an activity from the list before the selected activity in your process.

The options for these menu items change based on the context.

Insert Activity After Insert Activity After icon

Function:
Inserts an activity after the selected activity in your process.

The options for these menu items change based on the context.
