  • When you configure a Next Loop activity immediately after a Condition activity, the variables defined in the Initialize Loop activity are populated in the Next Loop activity. If you try to use the variables in any activity between the Condition and the Next Loop, the variables will not have the correct data.

How to Start

  1. (Example) Create a Process-Based Application for an Absence Request.
  2. (Example) Create a Human Resources Leave Verification Subprocess.
  3. (Example) Configure an Initialize Loop Activity to Store the Leave Information.
  4. (Example) Configure a Condition Activity to Check the Leave Information.

Procedure

  1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Utilities Utilities icon tab.
  2. On the Utilities Utilities icon tab, drag the Next Loop Next Loop icon activity onto your process.
  3. On the General Configuration screen, in the Display Name field, enter Next Line of Leave Information.


  4. In the Loop Initiate Activity Name list, select Store Leave Information.


  5. Click Finish.
  6. The Process Builder shows the Next Loop activity for the example human resources leave verification subprocess.
