Update Group (MS Entra ID) activity

Configure the Update Group activity

To configure the Update Group activity, do the procedure in this topic.

To send an email notification, click Advanced > Email Notifications .

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the MS Entra ID tab.
On the MS Entra ID tab, drag the Update Group activity onto your process.

Specifies the basic settings for the Update Group activity.

Field Name	Definition
Display Name	Description: Specifies the activity name that shows in your process. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string). Accepted: Letters Numbers Spaces Default Value: None Accepts Variables: No Example: This is a common configuration field that is used in many examples. Connection Timeout (Seconds)	Description: Specifies the number of seconds permitted to complete an action before the connection stops. Allowed Values: An integer. Represents: A number of seconds Default Value: 600 Accepts Variables: No

Specifies the information to change for a Microsoft Entra ID group.

MS Azure Active Directory	Description: Specifies the access token that connects to your Microsoft Entra ID. Allowed Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Default Value: None Accepts Variables: No
Create	Opens this Screen: Access Token for Microsoft Entra ID Function of this Screen: Configure an access token to connect to Microsoft Entra ID.
Group Name	Description: Specifies the name of the Microsoft Entra ID group whose information to change. Allowed Values: A valid Microsoft Azure Active Directory group name. Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
Display Name	Description: Specifies the name to show for your group in Microsoft Entra ID. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string). Accepted: Letters Numbers Spaces Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
