Placeholder activity

An activity that can be used as a placeholder for a different activity in a process.

App designers can use this activity as a placeholder when the correct activity or the configuration for an activity is not known. This activity can be replaced when an app designer has the necessary information for the correct activity.

How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.

  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Common tab.

  3. On the Common tab, drag the Placeholder activity onto your process.
