Import Records activity

Configure the Import Records activity

To configure the Import Records activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Prerequisites

On the New Entity screen or Entity screen > Details tab, turn on Allow Record Import.
Downloads the records as an XML file, or JSON file.
For more information, refer to Export Records activity.
AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 or higher.

To send an email notification, click Advanced > Email Notifications .

How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Data Entities tab.
On the Data Entities tab, drag the Import Records activity onto your process.

Source Repository

Specifies the original, or source, location type for your file.

Source Repository	Opens this Screen: The configuration screen for your document repository. The specific screen that shows depends on your document repository type. For more information, refer to Document Repositories. Function of this Screen: Configures your document repository.

Import Records Configuration

Specifies the configuration to upload a collection of exported records from your data source, and adds it to an entity in AgilePoint NX Data Entities.
