User Information screen

Specifies the information for a new AgilePoint user.

How to Start

  1. Click Manage.

    Click Manage
  2. In the Manage Center, click Access Control > Users.

    Click Users
  3. On the Users screen, click Add User.

    Click Add User icon
  4. Do one of these:
    • Change a user:
      1. On the Add User From Active Directory screen, enter your filter options, and click Next.
      2. On the Search Results screen, select a user and click Next.
    • On the Add User From Active Directory screen, click Add New User From Other Source link.

User Name

Function:
Specifies the user name.
Accepted Values:
A user name, with the domain name, in this format:

[domain]\[user name]

User Name / Full Name

Function:
Specifies the user's full name.
Accepted Values:
A text string that can contain spaces.
Default Value:

Department

Function:
Specifies the user's department.

The value of this field is used for the My Department view in the Work Center. For more information, refer to Tasks (Classic).

Accepted Values:
A text string that can contain spaces.
Default Value:
None

Email Address

Function:
Specifies the user's e-mail address.
Accepted Values:
A text string in email address format.
Default Value:

Title

Function:
Specifies the job title of the user.
Accepted Values:
The name of your job title.
Default Value:

Manager

Function:
Specifies the user's manager.

The value of this field is used for the My Direct Team and My Team And Sub view in the Work Center. For more information, refer to Tasks (Classic).

Accepted Values:
The user name of the manager.
Default Value:
None

Language

Function:
Specifies the language of the user.
Accepted Values:
A valid 2-letter ISO language code.
Default Value:
None

Yammer ID

Function:
Specifies the user's Yammer ID.
Accepted Values:
A text string that represents a Yammer ID.

Chatter ID

Function:
Specifies the user's Chatter ID.
Accepted Values:
A text string that represents a Chatter ID.

Phone Number

Opens this Screen:
Specifies the user's phone number.
Accepted Values:
A numeric string.

Reserve a permanent license seat for this user

Function:
When selected, specifies that the user is reserved a permanent license seat under the floating license scheme.

When a license seat is reserved, the user's license seat is removed from the pool of shared licenses, and the user session never expires unless the user logs out. This is typically used for frequent or high value AgilePoint users who need uninterrupted access to the system.

Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - Specifies that the user uses the default floating license scheme.
  • Selected - Specifies that a non-expiring license seat is reserved for the user.

Add User

Function:
Adds the user information into AgilePoint.
