How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.


    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Mailchimp tab.

  3. On the Mailchimp tab, drag the Update Audience activity onto your process.

Function:
Specifies the name of the audience to change.

When you select the access token from the Mailchimp field, this field shows the audience names associated with the access token.

New Audience Name

Function:
Specifies the name of the audience to create in Mailchimp.
Accepted Values:
An audience name from the list.

When you select the access token from the Mailchimp field, this field shows the audience names associated with the access token.

Permission Reminder

Function:
Specifies the information about how the email address of the subscriber was obtained.

A permission reminder is used to prevent a false spam report.

Email Subscribe Notification To

Function:
Specifies the email address to which to send a notification when a contact subscribes to the audience.
Accepted Values:

Function:
Specifies the email address to which to send a notification when a contact unsubscribes from the audience.

Double Opt In

Function:
Specifies whether to send a confirmation email when a contact subscribes to the audience.
Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - Adds the subscribed contact to the audience with no confirmation email.
  • Selected - Sends a confirmation email to the contact to confirm the subscription for the audience.

Marketing Permissions

Function:
Specifies whether the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) fields show on the signup forms to the subscribers.
Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - Hides the GDPR fields on the subscriber signup form.
  • Selected - Shows the GDPR fields to subscribers on the signup form.

Deselected

Allow Multiple Email Format

Function:
Specifies whether the audience supports emails in more than one format.
Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - The audience supports emails in one format. Subscribers receive emails in HTML format only.
  • Selected - The audience supports emails in more than one format. Subscribers can select a format to receive emails.
