  1. Open Process Builder.

    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Jira Software tab.

  3. On the Jira Software tab, drag the Add Comment activity onto your process.

Associated User

Function:
Specifies the name of the user to associate with the issue comment.

When you select the access token, this field shows the user names associated with the access token from the Jira Software environment.

Accepted Values:
A Jira Software user name from the list.

Comment ID

Function:
Specifies a process data variable to store the ID for the issue comment.

The comment ID comes from Jira Software.

A process data variable that accepts a numeric string with no spaces.
