PDF Converter activity

An activity that converts multiple files in various formats to PDF files.

To configure the PDF Converter activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

How to Start

On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
- Open a Process.
- Create a Process.
Do one of these:
- Add an activity:
  1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Document tab.
  2. On the Document tab, drag the PDF Converter activity onto your process.
- Change an activity:
  1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.
For more information, refer to Configure General Options for a System Activity.
Click Source Configuration .
On the Source Repository screen, select the source location of your file to convert to PDF format.
Click Target Configuration .
On the Target Repository screen, select the target location for your output PDF file.
Click PDF Converter Configuration .
Complete the fields on the PDF Converter Configuration screen.

(Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notifications .

General Configuration

Specifies the basic settings for the PDF Converter activity.

Source Repository

Specifies the source location of your file to convert to PDF format.

Amazon S3	Function: Specifies that Amazon S3 is the source location of your file to convert to PDF format. To select your file in the source location, complete the fields on Source Repository Configuration (Amazon S3) - PDF Converter.
Box	Function: Specifies that Box is the source location of your file to convert to PDF format. To select your file in the source location, complete the fields on Source Repository Configuration (Box) - PDF Converter.

PDF Converter Configuration

Specifies the file types you want to convert to PDF.

File Types	Function: Specifies the types of files to be converted to PDF format. This is not one field. It gives all the options on the PDF Converter Configuration screen together. Accepted Values: File types - You can select one or more file types to convert. Other file types at your specified location are not converted. Groups of file types - You can select groups of file types, such as all document types (Select All Document Types) all image types (Select All Image Types), or all file types (Select All Types). Specifies the target location for your output PDF file.
